Nu is het klaar en ik ben blij toe. Zelf ben ik nu content, de docent vond het goed, maar ik moet de beoordeling, die meestal het resultaat van nuchter cijferwerk is, nog krijgen.
Een indruk van mijn werk zie je hieronder. Het is een uitbreiding van rond de tweehonderdzeventig woningen in Driel, vlak bij Arnhem-Zuid. Mijn concept is een nieuwe fietsverbinding tussen Driel en station Arnhem-zuid die het wonen, het Betuwse landschap en de recreatie dichter bij elkaar moet brengen. Onderin van het plan zie je de RK kerk van Driel.

I note that much has also been done here to showcase the progress with your studies. You’re a lucky man to be so engrossed, enthused and passionate about a subject matter that may very well lead to a new career (if it hasn’t already). There’s nothing better than having your hobby as your job.
As for this latest assignment; I had a look at how the area looks now compared to your vision. A brilliant concept and well conceived, but above all I find it very straightforward and practical. You’ll have every environmentalist lobby on your side as well with this one, I’m sure.
I acknowledge the hard work and effort you must have put into this and sympathise with your doubts and inner turmoils, feelings most of us can relate to all too well.
Good luck with your studies, I sincerely hope that your work is well recognised and that you ultimately reap great rewards from this.
As an aside; we used to live in Arnhem, I attended primary school there before emigrating with my parents. There was nothing south of the river in those days as far as I remember, especially not a station.
